Our mission is to instill running as a part of a healthy lifestyle in our kids at an early age. Through running, we show kids they can achieve more than they ever thought possible and put them on the path to healthier lives. Running is a great activity to help kids build endurance, which is developed when kids regularly engage in aerobic activity. Running offers kids the sense of freedom and the sense of reward and achievement when they finish the race.
We are mindful of the fact that young children should not run long distances, so the marathon will be for 2KMs.
Like so many individual sports that rely on self-motivation and hard work to achieve success, running teaches kids self respect, commitment and builds self-esteem, all of which are important values for kids to learn and build in their lives.
This is a non-competitive event centered around creating a fun running experience for kids.
Be a good role model for your children. Most kids will follow the lead of their parents and and most of the time, they finish far ahead of the said parent!
